Hello and thanks for visiting!
I'm Michele – a painter and visual designer with a BFA in Painting from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. After decades of corporate and freelance graphic design, I have returned to my first love: painting.
I'm drawn to the emotional resonance of color, light, atmosphere, and gesture of what I see. I'm interested in capturing the spirit my subject matter by looking beyond appearances to discover an underlying rhythm, structure, and presence that bring a subject to life.
Working in a variety of traditional media, I move between observation and intuition, structure and spontaneity, while striving to capture a sense of aliveness that invites the viewer into the wonder of it all.
Visual beauty opens the heart so we can see, hear, and feel more deeply.

Please find me on social channels for unfolding creative explorations.
